Hey Guys,
So if you were in Lexington this weekend you either enjoyed the weather had a great time at Keeneland or you got out on your bike and rode. Since I have Rev 3 Knoxville coming up in a few weeks I figured I better get butt on the bike if I want to have a good showing. However I think a lot of people in the area had the same idea because this weekend was the most bike traffic I have seen all year on the roads.
The only down side of the ride was a small shower about half way through. Luckily I had a place to duck and cover for a few minutes while the rain passed...
I wasn't able to score any freebies for the water bottles but I did get to enjoy the scenery for a while.
For those of you not familiar with Lexington and the surrounding counties, there are many bourbon distilleries that make the top shelf bourbon served around the world. The one pictured above, Woodford Reserve, is one of the stops that we will be making during the Bourbon Chase later this year with my team the Drug Runners.
Well I hope that you either got some miles on the bike, won some money at Keeneland or just enjoyed the beautiful weekend.
Keep training hard,
-T
